Delete Your Account and Data

For the Android game Ghast Tap (com.ghasttap.game).

Ghast Tap can be played without an account. If you made one — with your Google account or with an email address and password, which the game asks for when you buy something — you can delete it, and everything saved against it, from inside the game: immediately, without asking anyone and without waiting. If you never signed in there is nothing on any server to delete, and uninstalling the game removes everything it kept on your phone. If you did sign in but no longer have the game installed, use the email route below.

Delete your account from inside the game

This is the fastest route and it takes effect at once.

Open Ghast Tap and sign in if you are not already
Tap Settings from the main menu
Scroll to Account
Tap Delete account, then confirm

Your saved progress is removed from the server, your account is closed, and the copy on your phone is cleared in the same step.

This cannot be undone. Deleting your account removes every ghost, world, trail, companion and effect you own, your coins, your gems, your level and your season pass. Items bought with gems have no record in Google Play, so they cannot be restored afterwards by any means — not by signing up again, not by contacting support, and not by Google.

Delete your account without the app

If you have uninstalled the game or lost the device, email ghasttap@devjarda.com with the subject line "Delete my account", from the email address the account uses. That address is how the account is identified, so a request sent from another one cannot be acted on.

Requests are completed within 30 days and confirmed by reply.

Delete the copies held on your own device

1. The game's storage on your phone. Deleting your account already clears this. To remove it on its own — for example if you only want to sign out of this handset:

Open your device Settings
Go to Apps → Ghast Tap
Tap Storage → Clear storage

Uninstalling has the same effect. Note that neither one deletes your account — signing in again brings your progress back.

2. Your Android app backup. Android backs up app data for most apps installed from Google Play, and Ghast Tap takes part in this. This copy survives uninstalling the game, so it has to be removed separately:

Open your device Settings
Go to Google → Backup → Device backups
Delete the backup, or turn backup off for Ghast Tap

3. The game's access to your Google account, if you signed in with Google. Deleting your account already ends it, but you can also revoke it directly at your Google account permissions page. Ghast Tap only ever asks Google to confirm who you are; it has no access to your Drive, your files or anything else.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Purchase records for any in-app purchases	Google Play, and RevenueCat as purchase verification provider	Retained. They cannot be deleted on request, and this is not specific to this app.
